APLA’s second annual event for athletes and artists to join forces and celebrate the culture of basketball. Whether you battle on the blacktop or with a mic, Battle Force is the arena to lace ‘em up and bring your best. This competition is a 4 week journey through the lens of basketball and local communities intertwined.

BATTLE FORCE: A “Labor of Love.”

This is a celebration of the work and process that every athlete and artist must go through to achieve their goals. The missed jumpers, the napkin scribbles, the endless nights of sweat and tears – the shit no one sees, but in the end makes it worth all the effort.

Battle Force is an opportunity for kids to become not only local heroes, but known and respected for their craft on and off the court.
